Why this is not already solved
Existing controls govern a rail. BrainSignal governs the agent across rails.
Marqeta JIT funding and virtual-card controls can enforce merchant, MCC, amount, velocity, and expiry at the card network. Ramp, Brex, and Extend productize spend controls. Coupa, Ariba, and Tipalti own PO matching, approval workflow, and beneficiary controls in AP. Agent-payment protocols are standardizing mandate and identity constructs. Those controls remain valuable.
BrainSignal does not replace them. Its intended role is one cross-rail, pre-execution authority decision for an AI agent, plus portable evidence that remains independently verifiable outside the originating card, AP, bank, wallet, or protocol system. If a buyer operates on one rail and its native controls already express the complete policy, BrainSignal may add no value.
